Golfers impress on the greens at club event

According to Margaret Blount, BGC manager, the event would not have been possible without the generous sponsorship of one of their members, Ronald Ncube of Sizwe-NtsalubaGobodo Audit, Advisory and Forensics.

Jock of the Bushveld Boskombuis sponsored the nearest-to-the-pin prize, a meal voucher to the value of R300 for two people.

The mugs were sponsored by BGC captain, George Jenkins.

The format of Saturday’s game was a medal with a seeded draw.

The women’s winner was Doortjie Jacobsz on 68 points.

In the men’s category the winner was Marius Pansegrouw with 64 points.

Second place was clinched by Vuyile Resha on 68 points. David Chikwanha was third on 69.

Nearest to the pin was won by David Chikwanha.

The next Monthly Mug Tournament will be on Saturday February 24.

Entrance will be R150 per player.
