The Kruger Lowveld Tourism (KLT) will again have its annual roadshow in Barberton.
According to Jonathan Hattingh, executive assistant of KLT, the purpose of the roadshow is to update all stakeholders on the organisation’s past activities and plans for the future.
“We will show our new video and website, and make a presentation about tourism as a growth sector. We would love to have input and ideas from our members, partners in government and anyone interested in tourism,” he said.
Astrid Christianson, marketing manager for Barberton Tourism said this was a great opportunity for their members to hear what was happening in the area.
“Tourism brings in money to all the people in town, not just to produce owners only,” she said.
Christianson added that she will have membership forms on hand during the roadshow for those considering to join Barberton Tourism.
“I encourage non-affiliated members to join. And I wish to extend my sincerest thanks to all the paid-up members for their support over the past years. This enables me to attend shows and market our town.”
Meanwhile, Christianson will attend the Getaway Show from September 22 to 24.
“The other good news is that I have secured an office as from October 1. However, I will be needing all the support I can get. Many thanks once again,”she concluded.
